A gold Roman finger ring. The finger ring has a circular hoop which has been bent out of shape. The hoop has a circular section, but the edges have been slightly squared off. The hoops section widens to the shoulders, where it is decorated on either side of the bezel with two chevron-like incised markings. There is no tip to the chevrons. A worked flint flake of Mesolithic to Neolithic date. The flake is a pointed oval in shape and a shallow D-shaped in section. The dorsal surface is flat and the worked edges are very shallow. The striking platform no longer remains but the bulb of percussion and ripples of percussion can still be seen. The flint is a mid whitish-grey colour with some lighter flaws. There are no signs of cortex re-growth. The implement is 27.3mm long and weighs 1.4g.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the 2nd Century AD. The fragment consists of a flat, undecorated disc. On the reverse are the remains of the catchplate which would have held the pin closed. The catchplate is damaged and the pin is missing. There is no evidence of any decoration, however, the surface is corroded so this may have removed or concealed any surface decoration. The brooch dates to the 2nd Century AD. See Hattatt, p344, fig.203.

An incomplete cast copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. Only the headstud itself is missing from this brooch. The head has short wings decorated with a depressed rectangle inside which there is a column of three raised lozenges, the resulting spaces have been infilled with red enamel. On the reverse of the head the hinge mechanism and pin survive intact.
