A copper alloy belt buckle, half of a double looped buckle, dating from 1500 - 1650. It has a light green patina. One loop is missing, but the central bar is intact. The pin and plate are missing. A copper alloy oval buckle dating from 1350 - 1400. The frame has convex sides, a recessed and offset bar and a wide expanded outer edge. It is a Meols type 6 (page 84). The pin is still in place and the buckle surface has no signs of decoration on it. It has a length of 17.64mm, width 13.12mm, thickness 2.78mm, weight 2.10g.

A silver coin; a 2 Stuivers coin of the Overyssel Province of the Netherlands. It dates from either 1612-1634 or 1677-1681. The date is under the legend on the reverse, but the coin has been struck off centre and it is illegible. It is probably KM 14 or KM 48. It has a diameter of 19.01mm, thickness 0.76mm, weight 1.13g. A fragment of cast, copper alloy pot leg, probably from a cooking pot such as a cauldron or skillet. The outer surface is convex, the inner surface concave. Both surfaces carry traces of a dark, sooty material, suggesting burning. Only the foot of the leg survives. It is 31.5mm long, 30.3mm wide and 16.8mm thick. It weighs 46.73gm. See Geake 2001. It is probably medieval in date.

A corroded copper alloy Roman coin; an As of an uncertain emperor (probably 41 - 260 AD). The reverse shows a standing, draped female figure facing right. Her right hand is raised and in her left she holds a cornucopia, suggesting that this is a representation of Providentia. The legends are illegible. It is 28.2mm in diameter and 3.7mm thick. It weighs 11.02gm.

A cast, lead alloy spindle whorl, probably medieval or early post medieval, c. 1100-1550. It is circular and plano convex with a large central perforation. There is a small circular hole in the wall of the perforation, presumable to fix the whorl to the spindle. The whorl is decorated on both faces. The decoration consists of a small panels (seven on one side, eight on the other) delineated by raised lines. Each panel contains one or more pellets up to a maximum of four. Part of a copper alloy Roman Equal ended plate brooch, crossbar type, dating from the 2nd century AD. It is in the form of a central round disc with a smaller central cell in the middle. The smaller circle still has the blue enamel in place. At one end of the disc, is a rectangular cross bar which is decorated with longitudinal lines and traces of silvering.
