An oval post medieval decorative harness mount with two separate rivets, one of which is missing. The central cross has bifurcating rounded terminals. The cross sits within a pelleted frame; the outer border comprises spirally-petalled flowers with rectangular blocks.

A worn lead cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. It is formed from two flat discs of equal size held together by a short integral rectangular connecting strip at the top and an integral central rivet. Disc 1 is extremely worn and if it once carried any stamp or legend these are now entirely illegible. The front face of disc 2 is pierced at its centre by the rivet, which is flattened and sub-oval shaped in form. This face appears to have a stamp comprising an uncertain central motif surrounded by a legend within a border of pellets. The legend is mostly illegible, but what does survive app…

Post Medieval (1720–1790) cast copper alloy sub-rectangular knee or shoe buckle. Only a fragment of corner survivies. There is a moulded line along the centre of the frame with vertical grooves across it, giving the impression of small squares. It is 31.12mm long, 25.17mm wide and weighs 3.1 grams.

Post Medieval (1660 – 1720 AD) cast copper alloy trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with drilled frame for a separate spindle. Only a small fragment with the drilled hole survives. The fragment is decorated with a cast scrolled design. It is 21.76mm long, 7.91mm wide and weighs 3.2grams

Dress pin of bodkin type. Bent twice along its length, probably was originally worn. Made of silver, quadrangular section, tapering to a point (broken). At the other end, broken at what would have been a rectangular opening. Decorated on both sides with incised foliate ornament.
Period: Post-Medieval, 17th Century.

Weight: 6.74 g
Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
