Fragment of a cast copper alloy bowl, from the base of the rim, following the curvature of the body of the bowl and tapering towards the base where it has broken away from the vessel. The curvature in profile shows that the bowl would not have been very deep, perhaps 120 mm in depth. The the curvature in plan suggests that the bowl would have been about 260 mm in diameter. Egan (2005) illustrates a similar example of a bowl fragment with a curved body on page 99, Fig.85, No.443, which is dated from c.1550-1600. An incomplete copper-alloy seal matrix of post-Medieval date. The printing face is oval, its device, executed in negative relief, taking the form of a letter 'S' over an anchor. The back of the printing face tapers upwards into the vertical, circular-sectioned shaft. An incomplete cast copper alloy pipe tamper of post-medieval date. The pipe tamper is of a fluted baluster type design with a flat circular base and terminating in a worn point. The tamper consists of the stem with several fluted swellings and tamping end. The metal has dark greenish-black patina and is worn. The tamper is 31.9mm long, 14.1mm in diameter and weighs 7.7g.

At the top are two downward-tapering, oval-sectioned handles, one of which has become bent. A complete lead cloth seal of post-medieval date. The seal is of the two disc type sealed by a central rivet and linked by an integral stem. The upper disc is stamped with a cross hatched design, possibly representing a gate or portcullis, though the degree of wear makes this difficult to determine with any degree of certainty. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is a mid brownish-white colour and is worn. The seal is 25.8mm long (including stem), 17.8mm in diameter, 3.5mm thick and weighs 4.9g. The coin depicts a laureate and curaissed bust facing right on the obverse; the legend reads: GVLIELMVS [TERT]IVS. The reverse depicts a seated Britannia, holding spear left, with shield bottom right and holding an attribute in a lowered right hand. The reverse legend reads: BRITAN-NIA. Copper alloy and iron possible screw. An iron shank sheathed in copper alloy, with three turns of a finely inscribed screw thread on its outer surface. Corroded iron projects from one end; the other appears to have been cut with heavy shears. The mass may suggest further iron within the object, which is perhaps treated to retard corrosion while retaining strength. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800. Length: 29.8mm, Diameter (mid shaft): 6.1mm, Weight: 7.26gms.

A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy double looped trapezoidal buckle. The loops are rectangular with the outer edge pointed and bevelled. The cast copper alloy pin is still present. There is a lobed knop on either end of the strap bar. The back of the frame is flat.There is evidence of that the buckle was tinned. The buckle measures 42.49mm long, 24.32mm wide, 2.61mm thick and it weighs 9.47 grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates similar buckles (page 82, Nos. 512-513) which he dates to c.1620-1680 AD.
