A tin alloy Plantations Token issued in the reign of James II, in 1688. The obverse of the coin shows James II on horseback with the legend IACOBVS II D G MAG BRI FRAN ET HIB REX. The reverse shows four crowned shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland linked by chains and the legend VAL 24 PART REAL HISPAN. These coins were minted in England for use in the colonies, or Plantations, of America.

A complete Post-Medieval milled tin halfpenny, circa AD1689 - AD1692. This coin, which has a copper core, was issued during the reign of William and Mary, AD1688 - 1694. Obverse description:- conjoined busts right. Obverse inscription:- GVLIELMVS MARIA. Reverse description:- Brittania seated left. Reverse inscription:- BRITAN NIA. The coin measures 29.2mm in diameter, has a thickness of 2.4mm, and weighs 13.0g, and is in fair condition. An incomplete and slightly misshapen post-Medieval cast tin-alloy oval buckle frame (c. 1660-c. 1720 AD). The frame is oval in plan and convex at the front. The rear face is largely bevelled with the outer part being flat. At the front, one outer edge has a small 'V'-shaped pin rest. The iron spindle is missing. However, fragments of it remain in each side the frame where it was secured within the drilled holes. This frame has a shiny mid-brown patina overall. 38.5 x 32.3 x 3.7mm. Weight: 1.83g. An incomplete, Post Medieval, cast, lead/tin alloy, one piece button minus an integral shank. The button is discoidal, solid and has a convex front and slightly concave back. It has an elaborate multipetalled flower head design. There is a mould line across the back but it is minus the once integral shank. The button is grey in colour and has a matt surface.
