A complete and slightly damaged Post-Medieval copper alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell. The suspension loop at the top has a rectangular and flat cross-section. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided equally by a horizontal circumferential joining rib. Two holes in the lower hemisphere are joined by a split. This bell has been entirely filled with lead and may have been reused as a weight. Similar to: PAS, find number: IOW-A805A6.

A damaged post-medieval lead toy or miniature representation of a chalice. The object has an incomplete pedestal base with concave centre. The vessel wall was originally hexagonal but is now squashed flat. The rim is missing. Each panel is decorated with a vertical perimeter of pellets, and around the top one or two draped garlands of pellets are also visible. For a similar example see SWYOR-E3D418.

A possible post-medieval luggage tag. The object has a flat, sub-oval body with a circular hole at the top. In the centre are the initials J.J.R. An unclear punched motif is also visible on the reverse but it is uncertain whether this is a makers mark or just damage.

A copper-alloy object, possibly a drawer knob from a piece of furniture. The object has a solid globular head decorated with an incised band around the perimeter. A waisted shank extends which flares to a flat base. An incomplete circular-sectioned shank extends from the centre of this base. Probably post-medieval in date, though it was found on a field that produces large amounts of Roman material.

A post-medieval lead cloth seal from the fustians of Augsburg, sixteenth to early seventh century. The seal is circular and has an incomplete circular tab on the reverse. The obverse is decorated with an ornate letter A with annulet above and ?lis and annular below. The reverse depicts a cride pine-cone. Similar seals are recorded in Egan, 'Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum', p. 106.

A post-Medieval, cast, copper-alloy double-loop, asymmetrical buckle. The buckle consists of two loops, one D-shaped and one trapezoidal. Both loops are triangular in section. The D-shaped loop has a lobed knop at either end of the strap bar. Iron oxide staining on the strap bar suggests an iron pin, now missing. A similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead, page 91, no.564.

Lead alloy Possible Toy Gun. Curved cast fragment; comprising the butt and one side of the handle of a toy gun made in at least two pieces, strengthened with a mid rib and thickened at its made end. The inside is recessed, a feature which may have helped accommodate other moving parts, perhaps a trigger mechanism, with walls circa 2.3mm thick elsewhere. Copper alloy with black paint or oil possible strap fitting. Cast ovoid plate with a collared knop at its narrow end and a lug at the other. A border confines a field of pelleted decoration set in rows. Two attachment holes lie on the centre line of the plate, one at the putative belt end, and one interrupting the pellet decoration, both of diameter 2.5mm. These represent a modification, and have been punched through the plate from the back, distorting it.
