A base from a Roman ceramic vessel; probably a colour coated beaker dating from the later Roman period. Only the base of the vessel survives. It is narrow at just 40.97mm diameter. It tapers to 35.9mm at the narrowest point and then the walls flare. The fabric is white to light grey with a colour coating of dark grey on the outer face, and of grey with red tones on the inside. The breaks are fine with a smooth feel and the inclusions are mainly flecks of black and orange-red (perhaps grog). The vessel seems similar to Castor Ware (also known as Nene Valley Ware) narrow mouthed beakers such as those on page 9 og Gillam (1968), particularly number 57.

A corroded and bent fragment of a cast copper-alloy spoon of probable Post medieval date to modern date (c. AD 1700-1850). This artefact is formed of an incomplete possibly pear-shaped bowl, tapering into an elongated and complete stem, which terminates in a circular knop. The remains of the bowl are 'V' shaped in plan (20mm long by 17mm wide), and broadly flat in section (0.65mm thick) with flared angular sides, which thicken towards the stem (to 2.75 mm). A single groove can be seen at the transition between the flattened bowl and angular edges, and towards the stem, delineating the form of the bowl. The underside of the spoon is plain and undecorated. From the bowl, a sub-square in section stem extends (for 32.9mm, 3mm thick) and terminates in a globular knop. This artefact has been bent at the transition point of the bowl and the stem in post depositional damage, so that the spoon stem now rests at an obtuse angle to the bowl. This artefact has a broadly mid-green to grey patina, and the surface of the artefact is pitted and uneven.

A cast copper alloy knife that is probably Post Medieval in date. It consists of a sub-rectangluar section which has ribbed decoration. At the top is a figure, possibly a long-necked bird which appears to be sat down. Detail picks out a possible beak and eye and also the tail. The design is the same on both faces. The lower have of the object is curved knife edge that tapers towards the point. The edge appears to be corroded. It weighs 14.5g and measures 120.11mm in length, 15.04mm in width and 3.31mm in thickness. A parallel can be found in Egan, G. (2005) Material Culture in London in an age of transition, Museum of London monograph 19: 84ff.

A fragment of a Hod Hill type of Roman copper alloy bow brooch; measuring 20.22mm in length, 9.39mm in width, 2.69mm in depth, and weighing 1.19g.
All that remains of this brooch is the uppermost, right-hand part. This consists of a sub-rectangular extension angled out to the right, atop a curved length of the upper plate of the brooch.
The reverse of this fragment bears a few incised lines but no obvious evidence of the pinning mechanism itself.
