A Roman nummus of Constantine II as Caesar (AD 317-37), dating to AD 320-1 (Reece Period 16), VIRTVS EXERCIT, Two captives seated either side of trophy. Mint of Trier. RIC VII, pp. 187 and 189, cf. nos. 265var and 289. If there are no letters in the reverse field, it is a new variety; if there are letters it is a recorded type. Measures 18mm, die axis 12, worn with edge damage.
