A fragment of cast copper-alloy metal working debris. It is rectangular in form, D-shaped in section and terminates at both ends in old breaks. The surfaces demonstrate signs of post-depositional wear and corrosion, and are crudely/unevenly finished. It measures 24.94mm in length, 8.79mm in width, 5.04mm in thickness and 5.72g in weight. Although this fragment has a relatively uniform shape it does not appear to have been finished as a complete object. A cast lead steelyard weight of Medieval or later date. It is oval shaped in form and section, with casting seams visible on both sides. At the top of the object are the corroded remains of an iron loop, now mostly missing due to old breaks, the end of which is visible at the centre of the base of the object. The entire object measures 38.35mm in length, 27.51mm in width, 24.75mm in thickness and 124.21g. This is a steelyard weight of probable Post-Roman date, perhaps c.1200-1700 AD.

An incomplete spindle whorl of uncertain date. It is missing part of one end due to old breaks but is otherwise intact. The whorl appears to be formed from fired grey/brown clay. It is circular in form, oval shaped in section with a large central circular aperture and very smooth, regular surfaces. It measures 21.62mm in length, 30.13mm in external diameter, 11.31mm in internal diameter, and 24.24g in weight. This is a ceramic spindle whorl of uncertain date. It is possible that it dates as early as the Anglo-Saxon period, although a later date cannot be ruled out entirely.

It measures 55.53mm in length, 28.73mm in width, 10.12mm in thickness and 60.81g in weight. 2) Coarse, irregular fragment, roughly oval shaped in form. It has heavily pitted and slightly porous surfaces with many gritty and metallic inclusions. The fragment measures 38.09mm in length, 36.23mm in width, 26.99mm in thickness and 46.23g in weight.

It is possible thay are of later Iron Age date, however an Early Anglo-Saxon or even Medieval date cannot be ruled out entirely due to the abraded nature of the sherds.
