A cast copper-alloy button of Medieval date. It is circular in shape and flat in section and on the reverse is an integrally cast circular attachment loop. The face is decorated with a central flower with eight facets with lines leading to a polygonal border. Between each line is an oval pellet. It measures 12.57mm in diameter, 6.66mm in height and weighs 1.47g.

It has a biconical head that is hollow with openwork decoration consisting of six evenly spaced triangular apertures on each hemisphere that radiate from the centre to circumference of each hemisphere. At the centre of the lower hemisphere is a projecting globular knop, while at the centre of the upper hemisphere extends an integrally cast sewing lug.
