Opaque turquoise blue glass bead of uncertain date. The bead is oval in plan and circular in section with slight rims around the holes. It has a rough sided hole c.2.4mm in diameter running though it. It is 8.9mm long and 9.2mm in diameter and weighs 0.89 grams. Irregularity in the shape and a spiralling grain suggest it was made by being wound on a pontil. Although turquoise blue beads were popular in the Roman and Early Medieval period, those examples are usually more globular, distinctly wider in diameter than they are long. A group of lead metal working debris found in a pit with fourteen iron nails (WILT-E2A7F2), Roman pottery (WILT-E232C8, WILT-E19E94) and coins (WILT-200EF8, WILT-203724 and fragment WILT-2057C7 which is possibly a Roman coin), a fragment of Roman spoon (WILT-250BB8) and copper alloy metal working debris (WILT-254207). Two incomplete and probably Roman iron hobnails, with broken square-sectioned shafts. One has a conical, rectangular head (9.97x6.06x4.21mm), its overall length is 11.88mm and it weighs 0.81g. The other has a square conical head (8.44x7.83x4.14mm), its overall length is 14.26mm and it weighs 1.16g. The shaft is bent towards the end. Although it is rare for iron nails to survive for a prolonged period, this size and shape conforms to known examples of Roman hobnails.

Fragment of an unidentified cast copper alloy item, possibly some form of vessel or harness fitting. The piece has a circular sectioned straight projection at one end, ending in an old break. Beyond this it widens into a large D-shaped collar. Level with the lower edge a broader circular sectioned bar projects. This broader bar is curved, gradually at first then sharply back on itself about 120 degrees, it also ends in an old break. Part of a stone pebble, a micaceous metamorphic rock. It seems to be a natural pebble, oval in section, thickening and widening towards the broken end. The complete end is rounded. It is slightly curved in profile with a concave top and convex base. There appears to be some use polish on the concave top. It is 84.0mm long, 56.7mm wide at the break and 40.4mm thick; it weighs 225 grams. A black, probably jet, bead of either probably of Roman or Victorian date, possibly Late Neolithic or Bronze Age. The fusiform (barrel shaped) bead is circular in section with flat ends and convex centre. Mid-way between the middle and each end is a pair of incised transverse lines running around the bead. Cast lead alloy item, possibly a weight. It is shaped like two cones joined point to point with wide oval ends constricting to a narrow central waist. At the waist is a raised collar running around it with a patinated but unworn break to one side, possibly from a broken suspension or attachment loop. A casting line form a two part mould runs across both ends and down the sides. It is 30.7mm long, 15.5mm by 13.3mm at one end, 12.8mm by 14.6mm at the other and 11.4mm by 9.8mm in the centre. It weighs 21.86 grams.

A Late Iron Age to Post-Medieval copper alloy ring with sheet copper alloy twist around the hoop. The ring measures 17.24mm in diameter (internal 9.19mm) and with the sheet copper alloy 51.34mm. It weighs 6.6g. The sheet copper alloy is c.3.5mm wide and c.1.5mm thick. It twists three times to create a loop around the ring, which the ends extend freely. Both objects are of a different copper alloy, the twist being a light green in colour, the ring a duller dark grey.

Mis-cast copper alloy item. The piece has a amorphous blob of solidified molton metal with a short cylindrical extension to one side. The cylinder has an old break at the end opposite the blob and a double incised line around the centre. The cylinder may be part of a miscast artefact such as a candlestick or it may be from an aperture where metal was poured into a mould. It is 32.6mm by 38.5mm and 13.7mm thick, the cylinder is 13.4mm in diameter and 15.4mm long. It weighs 35.74 grams.
