This object was recovered as a possible miniature axe-head, a function for which the material is unsuitable. Shard from the base of a hand blown glass vessel with punt; part of an inner ring of glass adheres to the edge of the punt, possibly as a flaw corrected during manufacture. The base of the vessel is worn, indicating its prolonged use.
