A misshapen and corroded Medieval cast copper-alloy single-loop spur buckle with an integral plate (c. 1250-c. 1400 AD)
The frame is trapezoidal in plan, bevelled at the front and rear. The sides of the plate taper and then expand to form an oval attachment end. A small portion of a copper-alloy pin survives within a pin hole. Two copper-alloy rivet holes penetrate the plate along the median centre-line. There is curvilinear abstract design on the front of the plate.
This object is corroded and has traces of a dark green patina.

A fragment of a probable Medieval buckle plate. The plate is broadly sub-pyramidal in form due to old breaks. It is decorated with incised triangles separated by two parallel vertical bands which have transverse incisions.

An almost complete, slightly misshapen and corroded Medieval rotary key (c. 1300-c. 1500 AD).
The key has a lozenge-shaped bow, a hollow shank and openwork bit.
The open bow is largely circular in cross-section with a rounded knop at each side and a hollow tubular outer end. It measures 25.75mm in length, 28.94mm in width and 7.59mm in thickness. Between the bow and the shank there is large bulbous collar which is contiguous with a much smaller collar next to the shank. A Medieval cast copper alloy zoomorphic vessel spout probably dating to the 15th century AD. The cylindrical spout was cast separately from the rest of the vessel and soldered on via the long sloping 'C' shaped arm. The spout itself is tubular and terminates in a dog's head with open mouth from which protrudes the end of the spout. The dog's head has a moulded nose, prominent, rounded brow and sub-oval ears that extend slightly above the flattened head; the eyes are not distinguished.
