A fragment of probably Roman copper alloy object, comprising an ovoid loop max.2.16mm thick and 8.59x6.45mm (internal 4.58x4.02mm) projecting from the centre of the long edge of a horizontal band 11.09x2.70x1.63mm. The opposite edge is a worn break. The band is decorated to one side only with at least one groove along its length (it is possibly broken along the line of another groove), and on the resulting ridge between groove and break, which is triangular in section, are two lines of tiny punches (perhaps circles or triangles, it is unclear). The object appears to narrow when viewed…
