A corroded and bent, plain copper-alloy sheet rivet which would have been used to hold repairs to a vessel in place. The artefact is sub-rectangular in form, having originally been broadly hexagonal. It have been folded in on themselves from the sides before being folded back, the folds protruding beyond the side, one side is incomplete. Similar examples found in Norwich tend to be found in post-medieval contexts (Margeson 1993, 92-93; refs. 574, 575).

An incomplete integral cast copper alloy handle lug, which possibly dates to the 13th to 17th centuries. The rest of the vessel is missing. In plan the lug in broadly square with a bevelled upper face, the reverse is mostly flat with a raised outer edge. In the centre of the lug is an oval perforation which has a maximum internal diameter of 7.6mm. A section of the vessel remains attached to the lug, it is 20.0mm in length and 6.7mm wide, a small fragment remains which is 11.85mm in length and 8.15mm wide.

A rim sherd from a Post Medieval ceramic vessel dating from the late 17th century probably. It had a rim diameter of about 11cm, and has a thin flared rim. The fabric is dark red to purple and the inclusions are not visible. It has a streaked dark brown glaze on both faces. Compare figure 21 on page 14 of Post Medieval Pottery 1650 - 1800 by Jo Draper.

The fabric is very hard and quite fine; dark red to purple or grey in colour. There are infrequent mica and red iron ore inclusions. The sherds are glazed with a lustrous dark brown to black glaze on both faces. The fabric seems similar to Wrenthorpe Black Ware.

A sherd of a Post Medieval ceramic vessel probably dating from 1550 - 1700 AD. It is a rim sherd with a rim diameter of about 13cm. The fabric is very hard and quite fine; creamy buff throughout but fading to tan on the outer face, and with few visible inclusions, just sparse tiny flecks of mica. It is glazed on the inside with a lustrous clear to yellow glaze. The rim is stepped to provide a seating for a lid. The fabric seems similar to Earlier Wrenthorpe Yellow Ware.

The fabric is very hard and fine with a grey core and inner face, fading to orange on the outer face. There are very sparse and fine mica inclusions, but no other inclusions are visible. The outer face is speckled with clear and purple splashes of glaze.

A fragment of a glass bottle of modern date: 19th century. The fragment is part of the neck and rim of a bottle. The rim is circular in plan, rectangular in section and is slightly raised from the surface of the neck which is also circular and flares outward slightly before terminating in an irregular and worn break. The glass is a dark green colour which appears black at the thicker points. The fragment is 59.7mm long, 36.8mm wide, 9mm thick and weighs 50.6g.

An incomplete wheelspun ceramic vessel rim of post-medieval date: 16th/17th century. The fragment has a wide square sectioned rim and narrow body fragment with a slightly curved profile. The fabric is hard and fine with a few small white, non-calcite, inclusions. It is a buff coloured throughout and is coated in a shiny black glaze on the internal surface. The rim fragment is 48.5mm long, 32.2mm wide, 13.1mm thick and weighs 21.2g.

A copper-alloy mount for a vessel handle of Medieval date. It is circular in shape and flat in section with a short flat arm and a longer circular arm opposite each other. There is a circle in the centre of the circular part for attachment. It measures 68.85mm in length, 29.13mm in width, 6.55mm in thickness and weighs 18.96g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan, 1998, no 498).

The rim fragment is 50.1mm long, 28.4mm wide, 14.6mm thick and weighs 13.5g.

A fragment of Medieval copper alloy vessel leg from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron. The leg is sub triangular in section; concave on the inner surface and having a strengthening decorative ridge running down the centre of the outer face. There is a mid rib on each face, flanking the central rib. The foot flares outwards. The leg is incomplete with a further fragment from the central ridge having broken away, and being broken at the top. A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of medieval date. The fragment is part of the leg of a probable cooking vessel. The leg is roughly oval in section with curved sides and two longitudinal grooves resulting in a raised central ridge on the front. The fragment begins where it would have joined the main body of the vessel and terminates in an irregular break towards the foot. All the breaks are worn and old. It is a dull buff colour throughout and is coated in a deep green glaze. The upper surface of the handle is ribbed with six shallow parallel grooves.
