A copper-alloy double ended awl, probably of Bronze Age date. This artefact has a lozenge shape of 58.2mm length and maximum width of 5.7mm tapering to a point at both ends (rounded point at one end and a flattened point at the other). The cross-section is sub-square at the centre with a thickness of 5.4mm that also tapers towards the pointed terminals. One of the terminals retains the sub-square cross-section, becoming rectangular at the very tip, but the other terminal gains a more circular cross-section for approximately the last 8.7mm of the length. An incomplete copper-alloy artefact, probably of Bronze Age date. This incomplete artefact may well have been a chisel. It has a sub-square cross-section tapering down to a flattened rectangular cross-sectioned pointed terminal at the complete end. This piece of copper-alloy weighs 36.98g and has a maximum length of 83.2mm to the furtherest point of the iregular and diagonal break across the widest end. A complete cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The pendant is comprised of two separate parts consisting of a frame and inner pendant. The frame is an openwork quatrefoil in plan with a short pointed knop projecting from between each of the four lobes. The top lobe extends into an elongated loop for attachment. This fragment has a relatively fresh transverse break at both ends and a narrow pointed oval cross-section. Patches of corrosion and light green patina are present on this artefact. The brooch has a plain rectangular head plate, with 3 T-shaped projections. The bow is present and is decorated with two centrally placed vertical incised lines. A cast copper-alloy medieval strap-loop/slide with central perforation for a separate internal rivet, now missing. The artefact is broadly rectangular, with a large moulded outer edge. The outer edge has a central knopped protrusion. This latter is concave internally and decorated on its outer surface with four transverse grooves that create five ridges. Another such strap fitting can be found on this database, ref. HAMP-461517, and also illustrated in Griffiths et al. (2007, 129; ref. 1467). A complete cast lead customs seal of modern date. The seal is roughly circular in plan with a rectangular cross section and is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by a hole running across its diameter. The hole would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag. An incomplete Medieval to Late Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy foot from a cooking vessel, standing 30.32mm in height and weighing 83.71g. It measures 39.66x13.40mm at the break and 32.53x15.21mm at the base, which is broadly rectangular. The face has a prominent central midrib and shallower ribs flanking either edge. The metal is rather corroded and almost no original patina remains. Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1200-1800 for serving and cooking.
