A cast copper-alloy Roman tutulus brooch dating from the first to third century AD. The brooch is circular in plan with a raised outer rim from which protrude six (incomplete) small lugs spaced at regular intervals around the outer edge. Four of these lugs are purely decorative, but two lugs directly opposite each other are integrally moulded to conceal the pin hinge and the catchplate, both of which are present. The centre of the brooch rises into a cone that is topped by a rounded moulded central boss with inner pellet. The reverse of the brooch is convex beneath the central boss and the pin is missing.

An incomplete worn copper-alloy gilt Medieval (probably 1200-1500) buckle plate from a single-loop buckle, consisting of one plate only (probably the upper plate) and measuring 24.82x9.71x3.46mm, weighing 1.02g. It retains three dome-headed rivets, vertically arranged along the centre of the plate.
The plate is 0.82mm thick and broken where the projecting tabs would have bent around the axis bar of the missing buckle frame. Between is a rectangular notch for the pin. Behind the plate is 9.71mm wide, narrowing to 7.55mm. The rivets are 3.46mm in height. The plate retains gilding especially around the rivets.
Almost all the original patina is missing and some bright blue/ green and red corrosion is apparent.

An incomplete cast copper alloy harness fitting / suspension mount of probable 14th-century date (c.1250 - c.1450). The mount is sub-rectangular (T shaped) in plan and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two parts; a horizontal bar mount, with two small spike-like projections on the rear; and an integral cast vertical suspension fitting. This suspension fitting is split into two parts so the loop of the harness pendant could be suspended ' hinged between the two. It would have been fixed in place by a small rivet, most probably iron given the mid orange corrosion product at this point. The heavily deteriorated yellow beige coloured surface on parts of this mount may suggest that it was originally gilt. The fitting is a mid purple brown colour with a heavily abraded patina which covers all surfaces. There are several areas of light green powdery corrosion present - especially on the rear of the mount. Similar examples of this fitting can be seen in John Clark's, Medieval Horse and its Equipment pages 68-69. The closest parallel is figure 76 an example from Billingsgate in London.
The mount measures 16.6mm length, 17.7 mm width and is 5.9mm thick. It weighs 3.08 grams.
