A cast copper alloy projecting hollow-backed fitting in the form of a lion's head, of Roman date. The head has an open voided mouth. Below the chin is a rounded breast with four tiny ring and dot stamps. The face of the lion features drilled pits for the eyes and nostrils and engraved hair below the lower lip and chin. The head projects sharply forward from a rounded inegral plate. At the back, at the base of the hollow, is a short ledge which projects backwards.

A complete cast copper alloy splitting wedge of uncertain, but probably Bronze Age, date. The wedge has a rectangular section and the sides show filed seams. The top shows heavy wear from impacts and is curled over. A corner of the blade is missing. The wedge is 53.62mm long and the weight is 60.50g.
It seems more likely that weights of later date would have been made of iron.

A complete cast copper alloy and gilt enamelled medieval harness pendant attached to its suspension mount. The suspension mount is of quatrelobate form and, although worn, appears to display three lions passant gardant against a field of enamel, possibly blue. The pendant is also of quatrilobate form with right angled projections in each corner. This displays what appears to be a crayfish (or possibly a lobster), head to top, in planform, against a blue enamel field.
The suspension mount measures 22.54mm x 16.74mm; the pendant measures 23.30mm x 31.50mm.

A late Saxon copper alloy strap end belonging to Haldenby's Group 16 (cross-hatched types). The strap end has a split end with two intact rivets. The terminal is zoomorphic and has flat ears. On the body are two symmetrically opposed panels comprising ornate frames infilled with cross-hatching. Between the frames is a cross. At the attachment end is a D-shaped slightly hollow area which appears to contain the remains of a silver inlay.
