A Post Medieval lead token, circa AD1600 - 1800, with slightly ragged edges. On the obverse there are two possible initials... M or N with a series on otherwise unintellible vertical and diagonals. The Reverse has eight spokes, with a pellet between each spoke and in the centre, from which the spokes radiate, the remains of a central pellet. Part of the edge of the token appears to bear "milled" marking.

A very worn cast copper alloy fitting, probably of 11th-13th century date, with areas of silver plate and possible gilding. The object is 73.86mm long and comprises a decorated terminal and, at the opposite end, an integral long and narrow circular-section spike. The terminal is pyramidal (11.66mm square) and this emerges from a square-section tapering body. At each corner of the pyramid is a projecting triangle each of which has a thick silver coating. The coating extends onto the body where there may be a band of gilding.

A copper-alloy pot leg of Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The steeply-angled leg is of sub-triangular section, having slightly convex sides and truncated outer angle. A transverse ridge separates the leg from the foot, the latter of which is flat on the bottom and has bowed outer sides which converge towards the squared toe. The piece measures 28.03mm high, up to 11.8mm wide and weighs 22.1g. A parallel for this leg - suggested to be from a small cauldron, ewer or jug - was found in excavations in Winchester (Biddle 1990: 956/fig. 293, no. 3397), in a late 15th to early 16th…

A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Trumpet brooch of Group C (Bayley and Butcher 2004, 161). The flared sub-circular head is typical of trumpet brooches, the name describing the shape of the head; it is plain. Below the head is an integrally cast semicircular ridge with probable perforation and notched removal at its base. The spring, chord and pin are all missing although possible iron remains of the chord can be seen in the possible perforation.
