A late Iron Age – early Roman copper alloy Aucissa brooch (AD40-65). The pin (no longer present) hinged in a narrow tube formed from the top of the bow rolled back above the head plate. The bow is decorated with longitudinal grooves and traces of a white metal coating remain. The bow narrows to the foot and there is no foot plate. The shape of the bow is distorted.

An early Post Medieval copper alloy ball-headed pin (1500-1600). The head is decorated with six filigree rings, inside each are three more rings around a central pellet. In between each of the large rings is a small ring and adjacent pellet, and a band of filigree forms a circumferential band. There are traces of gilding remaining on the head. The tip of the pin is broken and missing.

A Medieval copper alloy mount (12th – 14th century). The mount is triangular with a rounded terminal at the base point and a trefoil rising from between the two upper points. On the reverse are two bent over spikes for attachment. The front surface is decorated with a foliate pattern and small traces of gilding are visible. This was probably a harness mount.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman finger ring of probable 3rd century date. Only the bezel and a portion of the shoulders survive. The bezel has a raised circular opening but the stone or setting has now been lost. The shoulders, although badly corroded, appear to have been decorated with an incised groove running along both edges.

A fragment of a Medieval finger-ring, consisting of a rectangular bezel and part of the shoulders. The bezel has a border on each side engraved with flowers. The left side has suffered considerable damage and most of the decoration is missing. The shoulders have beaded borders. The right shoulder retains its engraved decoration, which takes the form of a sun-burst and a sprig of foliage.
The ring is iconographic in type, since it carries the representation of a Saint on the bezel, in this case an image of the Virgin and Child.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval stirrup mount dating to the 11th century (c.1000-1100). The mount can be categorised as Williams (1997) Class A, Type 16. It is rectangular in shape with a right-angled flange at the base and a semi-circular pierced lug at the top. There is ferrous (iron) corrosion on the lip of the flange from the worn iron rivets.
