Possibly part of a copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating from 75 - 175 AD. Only the button and the lower bow survives. The upper bow is circular in section and curves backwards before the worn and patinated break. The acanthus button is just a plain projecting disc which extends right round the bow. Below it is a bulbous moulding on the front of the bow. The lower bow is D shaped in section and tapers to a point where the foot is missing. It is quite corroded, but there is no evidence of a catchplate, casting doubt on the identification as a brooch.

Part of a copper alloy Roman headstud brooch dating from 75 - 200 AD. Only the head and upper bow survives. The brooch has rectangular wings with the remains of a loop on the back which would have held the now missing pin mechanism. The front of the wings are decorated with vertical bands of ridges, red enamel and zigzag lines. There is a badly corroded integral headstud on the upper bow. It was probably a pointed oval shape. The surviving part of the bow is corroded, and the break is patinated.

A copper alloy possible Roman brooch, possibly a dragonesque type, dating from 75 - 175 AD. It is poorly formed and badly bent and corroded. It is S shaped in plan with a wide and very thin plate (0.98mm) in the centre and a circular sectioned curved neck at each end. It is much thinner and less well made than most dragonesque brooches. It could also be a Post Medieval snake strap fitting, but again, it seems too thin and flimsy. The edges of the central plate are broken, and the metal has a poorly developed brown green patina.
