Part of a cast copper alloy, Anglo Saxon, cruciform or small-long brooch dating from AD400-600. It consists of the bow and that part of the foot holding the catch plate. Both the upper and lower portions of the brooch have broken away in antiquity and are missing. Above the bow are two narrow, transverse grooves beneath a shallow semicircle of four inverted crescents. The bow itself is decorated with three lateral grooves running down the centre, bordered by punched crescents. An incomplete copper alloy cruciform brooch dating from the 6th century. The headplate is missing and the break is well patinated. The bow has faceted corners and is decorated by a central vertical row of short transverse punched lines within a slight recess. There are similar lines on the facets too. An incomplete cast, copper alloy headplate of an Early Medieval Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch dating from about the 6th Century. The brooch consists of the headplate, top-knob and the start of the arched bow. The headplate is trapezoid in shape with sub-rectangular side wings. The top-knob is semi-circular in section and domed in outline with a moulded collar. The side knobs are missing. An incomplete cast, copper alloy Middle-Late Anglo-Saxon Ansate brooch dating from about AD 700 - 1000. There is a transverse rib at each end of the D-sectioned bow and at each sub rectangular terminal. Each arm is also decorated with a pair of incised lines which run from the rib to the end of each terminal. There is a double pin lug as well as the stump of the missing catch plate on the reverse; the pin is now missing. It has a dark green patina with patches of dark red patina. A Fragment of cast copper alloy Early Medieval brooch, either a cruciform or a small-long type dating from the 5th or 6th century. Only part of the lower bow of the brooch survives. There is a tapering flat area beneath the bow, decorated with two transverse grooves. Beneath this is a D shaped sectioned area, also decorated with three transverse grooves, with another flat area below that before the break. The head and bow of an Early Medieval Small Long brooch dating from 400 - 600 AD. The copper alloy brooch has a rectangular head with tattered edges and no visible decoration. The arched bow has corner facets and a flat back. The foot is missing but the break is well patinated. Behind the head is a single vertical lug pierced with a circular hole. Through the hole is a piece of copper alloy wire, but the rest of the pin does not survive. The brooch has a smooth mid green patina. Compare MacGregor and Bolick number 15.16 on page 129.

Part of the foot from a cast, copper alloy, Saxon brooch, probably of the cruciform type, dating from AD450-650. The remaining section is rectangular, flaring slightly towards the foot. There is a raised design consisting of a central, longitudinal ridge dividing into two U-shaped arms at the lower end, each U-shape thus formed containing a large pellet. The upper end of this ridge is also connected to a pellet, the whole, if inverted, giving the impression of a human face. It consists of an arched bow and a small, flat, head plate with three equidistantly spaced arms which taper to blunt, rounded points, possible zoomorphic but too worn to be sure. On the underside of the head plate are the remains of a vertical pin loop. The pin and the foot of the brooch are both missing, having broken away in antiquity. A fragment of an Anglo-Saxon, cast copper alloy, small long brooch, dating from AD500-600. It consists of part of a plain rectangular headplate with L-shaped cutouts in the upper corners and two circular perforations. There was a further pair of perforations, which may have been rectangular with rounded ends, but the plate is broken at this point and it is impossible to be certain.
