Fragment of a cast copper alloy sword blade, rectangular in plan and profile and lozenge-shaped in section. Both cutting edges are worn and incomplete and the perpendicular edges to these are broken so that the original length of the blade is unknown as well as the position of this fragment along it, though it is at the end that tapers towards the tip, as any raised area has flattened out in section. Cast copper alloy rim fragment from a large bowl or cooking vessel with an internally bevelled rim that is semi-circular in section and flush with the upper edge of the vessel. The body of the vessel curves downwards slightly to suggest a reasonably deep straight-sided bowl or a deep straight-sided everted rim, as seen on cauldrons, and the curvature of the rim suggests a large diameter of about 320 mm. The object could be associated with a reputedly ecclesiastical institution in the area called St. Claire's The site of St Claire's is unknown. It is well cast and nicely decorated and indicates that it is a relatively high status object. The length is 67mm, the width is 14mm and the depth 10mm.

Post Medieval (c1660-1720), cast copper alloy, trapezoidal shoe, or knee, buckle with what appears to be remnants of a white metal coating, probably tin decorated with moulded transverse ridges or scrolls around the spindle holes. The spindle is absent. The buckle is similar in type to No.610 & 611 (Buckles 1250-1800; Ross Whitehead). The length is 36mm and the width is 22mm.

The 'N' and 'R' in Henricus are ligated with the R having a wedge-shaped leg. Cast copper alloy receptacle leg, probably from a small cauldron or skillet, triangular in plan, profile and section, with a large central mid-rib, flanked by a slightly narrower rib either side, and tapering from the triangular fragment of the body of the vessel at its upper end, to a pointed end at its foot. The back of the leg is flat and the end of the foot is worn, particularly on one side from use wear, so that it looks deliberately narrowed or pinched. A cast copper-alloy Roman tutulus brooch dating from the first to third century AD. The brooch is circular in plan with a raised outer rim from which protrude six (incomplete) small lugs spaced at regular intervals around the outer edge. Four of these lugs are purely decorative, but two lugs directly opposite each other are integrally moulded to conceal the pin hinge and the catchplate, both of which are present. Copper alloy clasp. Cast sub-rectangular frame with bevelled edge engrailed on its outer side, anda round section bar opposite. Decoration moulded in low relief comprises a central rhomboid flanked by a plain triangular area and pairs of ribs. The form is reminiscent of that of 'king's head' clasps, though this example is not obviously figurative. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1400.
