A cast copper alloy Colchester-type one-piece brooch of 1st century AD date. The brooch is 68mm in length, 27.8mm across the wings and the bow is 2.2mm thick. It weighs 7.29g. At one end is a crossbar which would have protected the (missing) spring. The external chord, a short length of which survives, is held in place by a short hook which is turned back on itself from the top of the bow. The wide flat bow narrows slowly into a rounded foot which is slightly damaged. It is decorated with four faint parallel ridges. A complete probably handmade ceramic beaker, probably dating from the Post Medieval period, between AD 1600 – 1800 (length: 50mm; diameter at base: 40.5mm; weight: 43.72g). The beaker is sub-cylindrical in shape with slanting walls that slope inwards to a smaller diameter of 29.5mm at the top of the vessel. There is also a handle protruding from the outside edge at the top of the artefact, which is square in plan and irregularly sub-triangular in side section. A cast copper alloy mount. The mount consists of a plate with a central circular perforation, around which extend four elements, in the form of a cross. The upper three elements are all terminated by breaks close to the plate, therefore their original form remains unclear. A cast copper alloy buckle with ornate recessed plate. The pin is missing. The plate is rectangular in shape with three parallel looped terminals extending from the outer edge. Copper alloy brooch of La Tene III, Nauheim derivative type. The brooch appears to have been constructed from a single piece of wire. The foot has been hammered flat and curled back to form a vertical catchplate. The bow is simple, not significantly arched and undecorated. The spring coil curves to one side then wraps around underneath the bow, curving around to the other side and forming the pin.

Probably a fragment of a Roman copper alloy plate-headed T-shaped bow brooch. Only sections of the plate, hinge and bow remain. All breaks are old and very worn. It is covered in a green patina, whilst iron corrosion shows the hinge was of iron. It weighs 13.03g and measures 3o(incomplete)x31mm(incomplete). The plate head is divided into two sections. The lower has a width of 22mm, the upper a width of 12mm. In total it is now 8mm (incomplete) high.
