A cast copper-alloy Roman tutulus brooch dating from the first to third century AD. The brooch is circular in plan with a raised outer rim from which protrude six (incomplete) small lugs spaced at regular intervals around the outer edge. Four of these lugs are purely decorative, but two lugs directly opposite each other are integrally moulded to conceal the pin hinge and the catchplate, both of which are present. White Metal and copper alloy Brooch. Pressed metal of thickness circa 0.5mm, the front from a hollow composite discoid uniform button. An oval loop of copper alloy has been inserted in the back, and is flanked by the stubs of an attached hinged pin and a loop to receive its pointed end. The design on the front is the Royal Arms, with Lion and Unicorn flanking a crowned garter and shield of Arms with a small lion walking right above the crown. An incomplete cast copper alloy Hod Hil Variant brooch of Roman date. The head of the brooch has been lost due to old breaks and the body is roughly lozenge shaped in plan with a flat apex and projecting lower side knops. The side knops are bent slightly forwards and the front of the bow is decorated with incised lines forming a central triangular panel. From the reverse of the lower bow the worn remains of the catchplate project and the pin no longer survives. The metal has a mid reddish-green patina and is worn. The brooch is 36.9mm long, 19.1mm wide, 3.2mm thick and weighs 4.6g.

A corroded fragment from a cast copper-alloy annular brooch of medieval date. The fragment consists of a curved rod, the frame of circular cross-section, to which two separately moulded mounts have been attached. The first applied shape is of a six-petalled flower (sexfoil), with recesses defining the petals. The other is lozengiform with an incised border within which an incised lozenge with a saltire connecting the centre of each of its sides. There is a gap of 7.4mm between the applied elements. The fragment has corroded to a variable mid-green colour.

Fragment (approximately half) of a copper alloy annular brooch in the form of two large felines, perhaps panthers or leopards, facing one another. The animal is sprawled on the ground with forelegs stretched out to the front and back legs to the rear. the tail, with a heavy end, is curled over the middle section of the body. The left forepaw is missing as are the lower parts of the rear legs, length 48.5mm, weight 18.47g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman crossbow brooch of 3rd - early 4th century date. There is an integral, collared, bi-conical knop with a large central pellet on top on the surviving end of the rectangular sectioned crossbar and at the top of the bow. Only a vestigial of the other end of the cross bar and the bow survive. The collars on the knops are decorated with a ropework design. The brooch appears to be a Keller type 3/4 and a Prottel type 3/4 which date from 325 - 410 AD. There is a veritcal incision running along the survivng section of the reverse and the knop at the top of the bow.

A copper-alloy open-frame brooch of Medieval (13th to 15th century) date. The frame is sub-hexagonal, with inward-bowing sides, and is of trapezoidal section. A continuous band of circular depressions (perhaps settings) extends around the angled inner face of the frame. The flat upper surface is decorated with a series of incised transverse grooves. A complete cast copper-alloy sexfoil brooch with of Medieval date c. 1200 - 1500. The brooch is sexfoil in plan and triangular in cross section. It has been identified as an annular brooch because of the constriction for the pin. The sexfoil frame has slightly incurving sides between each point, the outer edge of the frame is undecorated, the inside edge has eleven circular recesses presumably for settings which are now missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy Aucissa brooch of Roman date. The rolled-forward cylindrical wing and head is incomplete, irong corrosion product is visible. The head projects outwards from the wings at 90° and consists of three horizontal panels, the two outer panels are decorated with a central groove and diagonal incised lines. An incomplete copper-alloy lion bow derivative brooch, dating from the 1st century AD (cf Hattatt 2000: 307, no. 280). The horizontal spring encasement is damaged and incomplete, and the spring and pin are missing. The upper part of the bow is of thin section, its sides converging towards a 'bow-shaped' moulding, at the base of which is an oval plate.
