An incomplete copper-alloy pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 950. The pinhead has a globular head with a flat top and roughly seven longitudinal facets. From the base of the head a collared circular sectioned shaft extends, tapering to a worn break. The metal has a green patina. The pin survives to a length of 11.19mm, the head has a diameter of 8.16mm while the shaft is 2.02mm in diameter. It weighs 1.98g. A small, rounded, garnet bead, of unknown date, Roman - Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1900. It is an irregular, smooth, rounded shape and has a circular hole through it (about 1mm diameter) nearer to one end. The bead is 3mm long and 2.7mm in diameter. It weighs 0.1g. Garnets are frequently found on the Thames foreshore (LON-0C7DE2 for example) and another worked garnet bead is LON-0335F7, but they can seldom be dated without additional context.

A copper alloy late Bronze Age socketed axehead dating from about 1140 BC - 1000 BC. It is a type Fulford socketed axe. The axe is sub-rectangular in plan and wedge-shaped in cross-section. It has a square socket with a moulded triple collar, wider at the top. The sides expand slightly, and then curve at the tips. The faces are smooth and there is no decoration visible on the surfaces. The socket is 59.2mm deep, 34.1 mm wide, and 8.8 mm thick. A small sub-circular perforated lead seal dating from AD 1900 - 1964. It is a General Post Office seal. It is circular with one flat and one domed face. Strands of copper wire project from four points around the edge. The centre of the seal has been perforated by a circular hole suggesting reuse. The partially obscures the obverse design of the letters G[P]O with a broad arrow above and a numeral, probably 14, below. Measurements are; diameter 19.2mm, thickness 7.2mm and weight 14.50g. A lead Early Medieval spindle whorl, dating from about AD 500 - 850. It is of Walton Rogers form A1. The spindle whorl is sub-conical in form, with one flat face and one face with one rounded and one angled side.  The measurements are; diameter 26.0mm, thickness 13.8mm, and weight 45.29g.  The central hole has a diameter of 8.5mm. Form A1 whorls are dated by Walton Rogers to AD 500 - 1000. Those with a central perforation of 6-9mm are more likely to be early to mid Saxon, AD 500 - 850.

A cast lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers form B1 dating from the Early Medieval to medieval period, about AD 850 - 1200. The whorl has two flat faces and a large central aperture of 11.6mm. The measurements are; diameter 27.6mm, thickness 7.3mm, and weight 31.62g. The object is undecorated and has a light grey patina. Similar examples can the found on the database see SWYOR-B413FF. Walton Rogers dates form B1 from AD 700 in York to 1200. A large central perforation makes a date from AD 850 onwards more likely.
