A Post Medieval god finger ring of probably 17th or 18th century. The finder has no memory where the ring was found, but believes it was found in 1991. As such it has not been reported under the Treasure Act. The ring has a D shaped cross section with an undecorated outer surface. There is an inscription running around the internal surface which reads * I like my chois. The ring is 19.8mm in diameter, 5.8mm wide, 1.5mm thick and weighs 6.51 grams.

A gold finger ring / 'posy ring' with incised inscription on interior face dated to the later post medieval period (c. 1650-1750 AD). The finger-ring is formed from a very slight (narrow) D shaped section hoop of gold, originally being circular in plan now a crushed and distorted oval. The exterior of the ring is plain and undecorated. The internal surface of the band has an incised inscription in a loose italic hand. It reads: 'I desire to deserve '.
