A complete cast copper alloy stamped domed thimble, c. 1350-1450 AD. The thimble was fashioned from a copper alloy sheet and hand punched with holes which spiral from the top; there is a circular 'tonsure' at the top of thimble's dome from this process. A small plain band is visible at the base. The thimble has been crushed slightly, possibly due to damage during deposition. The thimble measures 14.44 mm high, with a base measuring 17.29 mm by 13.61 mm, 0.70 mm thick sheet and weighs 1.94 grams. Cf. Holmes, Fig. 1a from 'Sewing Thimbles', Datasheet 9, Finds Research Group 700-1700.

Cast copper alloy purse bar fragment length 39mm, width 8mm, thickness 5mm, weight 5.92g. These are two fragments from a purse bar arm. They are triangular in cross-section with a concave underside. On one face is the inscriptionwhich is flanked by a curvilinear foliate pattern before and after the inscription. On the other side is a pierced hole to sow a bag onto. Date 1400-1600. Malcolm Jones has been able to identify the inscription as OLI and HO which would be elements of SOLI DEO HONOR ET GLORIA Williams 2018 p.4 Inscription 5.

This is a bar mount with a rectangular loop on the top side, behind this loop on the bar is a small rivet hole, the bar has been truncated at this point. The end of the bar has a globular terminal which has a rivet hole in the centre and a rectangular knop on the tip. This artefact dates to the 14th century.

A complete cast lead alloy trade weight dating from the Medieval period. The weight is shield shaped in plan with a worn design on the front. The design is too worn to decipher. The reverse of the object is flat and undecorated. Similar weights can be seen in Biggs, p.43 which discusses how lead weighs such as this were used to weigh goods under the averdepois system from 1390 in England and were used throughout the 15th century. A medieval copper-alloy clasp in the form of an abstract 'animal head'. The lip has a pointed 'snout' and two circular holes, with a triangular section containing incised lines. The top of the frame near the head has two pointed knops representing the ears on both sides. The frame is rectangular in plan and has a narrowed bar.

A medieval copper-alloy key. The bow is oval and decorated with a small tab of copper alloy at the top and three tabs to either side. The shaft is oval in cross-section, hollow at the terminal and is decorated with two collars at the bow-end. The bit is divided into two; one is straight, ribbed and bifurcates at the end. The other is right angled and split.

A late medieval/ early post-medieval (1450-1600) copper alloy chafing dish handle and attachment lug. Together, they measure 57mm in length and width. The handle has a sub-trapezoidal frame in plan, with the edge opposite the attachment lug shaped into a double curve with central indent, rather like a depiction of a heart. In cross-section the frame is square with slightly bevelled corners giving it a hexagon shape and its maximum dimensions at the top of the flaring sides is 5.46 x 4.84 mm.
