A silver cut or snapped short cross halfpenny, probably of John (AD 1189-1216), struck in Bury St. Edmonds. Moneyer unknown. Although it is likely that this is a coin of John (Class 6c2, N976) dating from AD 1216-1217, it is possible that it may be of his successor, Henry III (1216-1272), Class 6c3 and dating to AD 1217.

A very worn Medieval long cross penny of Edward I (1272-1307 AD) or the early reign of Edward II (1307-1327 AD). Certainly Class 10cf and further probably Class 10cf5 (due to remaining attributes of the crown), c. 1307-1310. Mint: Bury St. Edmunds. The obverse depicts a crowned bust facing with bifoliate side-fleurs and a wedge-shaped collar; the obverse legend reads: + E[DW...] [ANGL] DNS hYB.
