A contemporary copy of a dupondius of Antoninus Pius dating to the period AD 150 to 161. TR P XIIII reverse type depicting Aequitas standing left. Diameter: 24.49 mm. Weight: 5.05 g. There are several copies similar to this coin in the Sacred Spring at Bath (Walker 1989, p. 323). It is not possible to be certain that these coins are British products but it appears highly likely. See Moorhead and Walton (2011) Roman Coins recorded by the PAS. BNJ Vol. 81, p. 269, no. 24-27 for a discussion of copies of Antonine dupondii.
