An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval lamp hangar. The hanger has three arms (to suspend chains for the lamp) projecting from a central upright suspension arm with loop at the top. Two of the lower chain arms are incomplete. From beneath the central element is another small loop, the purpose and function of which is uncertain. A similar example from medieval London is recorded in Egan (1998:131) number 357 and is dated to the fourteenth century AD.

A cast copper alloy clasp from an early Post-medieval hook and eye clasp, this being the eye part. The clasp has a trapezoidal openwork hole at one end which would have taken and held the hook from the other clasp; the back terminal of this eye clasp is slightly trifoliate with four circular hole within (for attachment to the garment), separated from the eye by a rectangular collar, again with a circular hole. A cast copper alloy Aesica brooch dating to the Roman period. The brooch is formed of two separate pieces where the bow is riveted to the back plate. The missing spring was secured at the rear of the bow between lateral lugs on the main brooch plate. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, West Midlands). The brooch has a sharply curving bow that extends down to the catchplate, which is now incomplete but appears to have been of the openwork variety. There is now decoration or ribbing on the bow or elsewhere. The head of the brooch retains the spring box but the spring and pin is now missing. This brooch is similar to those in Hattatt (2007), for example number 24 (p300). They date AD 80-120.

A cast copper alloy brooch of Middle Iron Age Type 2L c.300-150 BC. The brooch has a fat rounded body, hollowed on the back. At the upper end is an integral transverse circular-section bar (half of which is missing, and originally c20mm in length) which is partly decorated with encircling grooves. An incomplete cast copper alloy late Roman military buckle, dating from the late 4th century. The remains of the buckle consists of approximately half of the buckle frame; this has two zoomorphic heads, from the mouths of which protrude the pin and plate bar (now both missing). The beasts' heads are stylised but an up-turned, open snout and pair of eyes are clearly depicted. There is no other detail. This buckle is of Hawkes & Dunning (1961) Type IIIA.

A sheet copper alloy sword pommel, probably dating to the early-medieval period. The pommel is made from one sheet of copper alloy that has been folded from a flat rectangular base up and over into triangular profiled pommel with a rectangular cross section. The pommel is filled with a lead alloy substance, giving the object quite some weight for its size. The folds of the pommel do not quite touch each other and the lead infill has leached out. The cheek-piece is rectangular in plan and has a D-shaped cross section, with a rounded terminal at one end, a rounded central rib in the centre of the length and is broken at the opposing end. This end would have expanded to form openwork links for the bridle strap and would likely have been decorated with scrolled patterns. The reverse of the cheek-piece is flat and plain. An incomplete cast copper alloy Anglo-Scandinavian cheekpiece dating to the 11th century. The cheekpiece is shaped like an elongated triangle, with a long, slightly tapered projection that terminates in a rounded knop. The opposite end is triangular but has broken across the hole where the cheekpiece would have attached to the strap and bit. This cheekpiece does not appear to have any decoration on the surviving parts, but other examples are usually decorated in scrolled or floral designs. The reverse of the cheekpiece is flat and plain. A copper alloy belt or strap mount dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1270-1400). The mount is sub-globular with two lobes protruding from either side; the top of the mount is decorated with four lines and columns of crude and uneven incised hatching. The two projections each have a rivet hole drilled through them, and one copper alloy rivet is retained. Similar examples are recorded from London and date from the late 13th to 15th century AD (Egan 1998).
