A complete misshapen post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1500-c. 1700 AD). The body of the mount was formally flat and symmetrical. It has a rectangular terminal at each end which has a decorative transverse groove. There is an indent at both ends of each groove. It has a central rectangular element that is divided from the terminals by two semi-circular cut outs at each side. A complete cast copper-alloy toy cannon of Post-Medieval date. It has a cylindrical barrel that tapers towards a flaring open end with concave moulding. At the centre extend integrally cast cylindrical trunnions to attach the cannon to a carriage. It has a circular touch hole at the closed end positioned between two circumferential bands, and the closed end itself has a projecting cylindrical knop. The barrel has a bore of approximately 5.43mm and measures 54.19mm in length, 11.67mm in maximum diameter, 14.75mm in width at trunnions, and weighs 25.11g. Toy cannons such as this became …

The mount is in the form of a large three lobed end narrowing down to a short neck with a much smaller three lobed terminal at the other end. A Post Medieval lead alloy small bowl, probably a salt, probably dating to the 17th century. The bowl has a rounded base, curved walls and a rim which has been rolled back on itself. The bowl has tripod feet soldered onto the body. One of these is missing and there is the corresponding section of the wall missing as well. The rim is decorated with diagonal lines creating a twisted rope effect. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle (c. 1660-c. 1720 AD). The pin and chape are missing. The spidle is largely mising. This buckle frame is rectangular in plan with rounded corners and curved in side profile. It is moulded at the front and largely bevelled at the rear. A Post Medieval gold finger ring. The finger ring is circular in plan, with a little distortion in shape, and D-shaped cross-section although there is a slight curve to the internal surface which forms the upright of the D. The external surface is plain with no decoration nor inscription. There is an inscription on the internal surface. The finger ring is very worn and the upper section of the inscription is worn away. An early post medieval cast copper alloy toggle clasp. The clasp is moulded in one piece with moulded relief, engraved and openwork decoration. It measures 36.7mm long x 181.mm wid x 3.1 thick and weighs 5.8g. A very similar example can be seen in Read (2008, ref. 754), dated to c. 1500 to 1700 AD.
