A fragment of a Medieval to Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy handle from a cauldron (c. 1250-c. 1650 AD). The handle was originally L-shaped and has a break close to the bend. The handle is oval in cross-section throughout it length with a small amount of the vessel rim remaining at the complete end where it is attached immediately below the rim. The fragment is corroded and has a drab green patina with small areas of sooting. The breaks are old. This 'L'-shaped cauldron lug is similar to one illustrated in Butler et. al. (2009, 5; ref. 3a). A fragment of green glazed pottery dating to the Medieval period. One side has all of the glaze remaining, whilst much of the glaze on the other side has been worn away. One the worn side are a set of incised lines, possibly left from the decoration. The sherd weighs 5.5g and measures 38.5mm at its longest point and 20.5mm at its widest point. A sherd of Medieval ceramic vessel, probably a dish as it is only glazed on the inside. The fabric is a warm grey colour with a fine break and the inclusions are poorly sorted white quartz pebbles and grey flecks. There is a white slip under the glaze which is pale lemony green with strips of dark brown.

Two sherds of medieval ceramic vessels. The larger is a rim sherd. The fabric is oxidised and hard, with an irregular fracture. The core is grey, the outer parts of the fabric are buff to pink with a brown coating on the outer face and a black coating on the inner face. The inclusions are mainly large angular pieces of quartz which make the surface rough. The rim is flared outwards from the neck, straight, and with a slightly rounded square edge. The top edge is concave with broken edges where it has broken from the rounded vessel base. The leg tapers to the foor which is rounded. The leg has a light green patina.

An incomplete cast copper alloy skillet handle of medieval date. The handle fragment is rectangular in plan with a narrow ovate section. The upper surface is decorated with a moulded plait design while the reverse is undecorated. The metal has a light brownish-green patina and is worn. The handle is 44.4mm long, 22.4mm wide, 7.4mm thick and weighs 42.g. Copper alloy cooking vessels such as that which this fragment is from date fot the mid 13th to 16th century.

An incomplete Medieval to Late Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy foot from a cooking vessel, standing 87.57mm in height and weighing 244.74g. It is max.51.33mm wide and max.31.64mm thick. The foot has a rounded base, flaring sides and a prominent central midrib. The base is solid for 37.76mm in height, where it is trapezoidal in cross-section, and the incomplete front extends upwards to the full height, consisting of the midrib and jagged edges to either side.
