A medieval silver coin: a clipped penny of Edward IV, second reign (1471-1483), mint unidentified, but probably Durham. As with many of these coins it was probably struck on a small flan and subsequent clipping has removed much of the remaining legend. It is 13.8mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 0.44gm.
