A gold stirrup shaped finger-ring of Medieval date. The slender 'D' shaped hoop, flat on the inner surface, is 2.13mm wide and 0.57mm thick at the base of the hoop (opposite the bezel). The hoop rises up to a pointed bezel with a sub-oval/sub-rectangular setting. The hoop is 2.62mm wide and 3.78mm thick at the bezel, thickness not including the setting which increases the thickness at the bezel to 4.51mm.
