An extremely worn and clipped medieval silver penny of uncertain Henry, probably Henry V (AD 1413-1422). York mint, identified not by legend, which is missing on reverse, but by the quatrefoil in centre of the long cross pattee. This coin has suffered severe circumferential losses and has incurred a high degree of surface damage, making positive identification difficult. It is possible due to the mullet to the left of the crown and the possible trefoil to the right, that this is a Class F penny. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, No. 1403; also Wren 1995, p108, ex. F.
