An incomplete cast copper-alloy mount or strap fitting of uncertain date. One terminal end survives intact, the remainder of the object missing due to old breaks. It is flat, rectangular in form with a curved terminal end that has a central circular aperture. The front face has borders along each side formed from deeply incised single lines, with traces of incised zig-zag motifs at the rounded terminal. An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, possibly a mount, buckle plate or similar, of possible Medieval date. It is missing one end due to old breaks. The object is flat, rectangular in form and slightly bent due to post-depositional damage. On its front face it has notched long edges with transverse double grooves towards the old break. Between the grooves and the break is a row of punched triangles, each triangle containing three pellets. A cast copper-alloy object, possibly a chape or ferrule of Medieval date. It is tubular in form, rectangular in profile, with hexagonally faceted outer edge, tapering slightly towards the base. Post-medieval buckle. Circular frame cast in the form of a five petalled flower, now very worn. Remains of corroded iron pin on the narrowed central bar, and possible remains of black laquer on frame. Length 30 mm, width 29 mm. A comparable larger example is found in Whitehead (2003), p.47, no. 273. Dates to the late 15th or early 16th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy gilt Medieval (1150-1500) single-loop buckle frame and plate, missing the pin and folded backwards-together. Measures 15.04x20.01x6.72mm and weighs 3.75g. Unfolded the length would be c.25mm. The buckle frame is D-shaped with thickened and rounded outside edge and central notch for the pin. The notch carries gilding still. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy spur of Medieval date. It is a figure of eight terminal from the side of a spur, the rest missing due to old breaks. The broken end is slightly curved forming the v-shaped edge. It is d-shaped in section and decorated with two incised grooves at the curve. The back face is undecorated. It measures 39.37mm in length, 28.22mm in width, 4.16mm in thickness, and weighs 11.35g. It is similar to published examples (Clark, 1995, no 339).
