A lead alloy spindle whorl probably dating from the Medieval period. It is biconical with a median ridge. There is a cavity in the side wall of the central perforation which has a diameter of 10.07mm. Both faces are decorated with raised radial lines with raised pellets between them. It has a well developed cream patina.
