A Post-Medieval (1500-1800) double-sided lead token, measuring 16.94mm in diameter, 2.52mm thick and weighing 4.7g.
The obverse has the raised initials NC while the reverse has an uncertain pattern or letter formation, consisting of three verticals and two vertically-arranged pellets. The central vertical stops short of another pellet.
Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and would have had a wide variety of uses. They were undoubtedly made locally and continued to be produced over a long period. Those with initials are generally thought to date to the Post-Mediev…

An undatable, but possibly Post-Medieval (1500-1700), uniface lead token cut roughly circular and measuring 13-14mm in diameter. Weighs 1.77g.
Obverse: Cross pattée
Although no exact parallel could be found during an initial search, the token looks rather like a miniature communion wafer, so a tentative religious connection is suggested, and if so, it could be possibly 16th or 17th century in date.
