A Post Medieval Nuremberg Rose/Orb jetton of anonymous issue with a fictitious legend, dating c. 1500-1550. Described by Mitchiner as a 'normal orb' Type 3 with a crown initial mark (Mitchiner: 1998, pp 383-386. Obverse: Three crowns alternating with three Fleur de Lis, arranged centrifugally around a five-petalled Rose. Obverse legend too worn to read. Reverse: Imperial orb surmounted by a cross with a tressure that has 3 main arches and three pairs of annulets around the tressure. Reverse legend too worn to read.
