An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1500-c. 1650 AD). One loop is missing and the surviving loop oval in plan, convex at the front and flat at the rear. The upper face is bevelled on the inside. The central bar is triangular in cross-section. The tapering copper-alloy pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. It has a length of 19.44m and the width of the loop is 3.48mm. There is no indication of a pin-rest. An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy cast strap plate for a double oval buckle frame, with one iron rivet in situ. It is missing another rivet and its back plate (old break). It measures 30.57x15.04x2.98mm and weighs 3.25g. The attachment plate (1.76mm thick) has two arms either side of a cut-out for the pin, broken just as they begin to curve (originally around the buckle's axis bar). A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is an oval frame with an ornate outside edge. The bar is narrowed and offset for the pin which is missing. The outside edge has two knops with a constriction between them for a roller. This is pressent and has seven grooves, the middle one wider than the others, presumably to act as a rest for the pin. The roller is corroded into place and no longer moves. It measures 23.89mm in length, 34.93mm in width, 5.18mm in thickness and weighs 13.26g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 301).

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is probably an oval frame with an ornate outside edge but only part of the outside edge remains, the rest missing due to old breaks. It has two knops with a constriction between them for a roller. This is present and has a groove around the middle, presumably to act as a rest for the missing pin. The roller is corroded into place and no longer moves. It measures 9.55mm in length, 20.27mm in width, 5.80mm in thickness and weighs 3.11g. It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 301).
