The spindle whorl is conical with a perforation through its centre. The surface is decorated with three raised pellets separated into five panels by raised lines. The base is undecorated and slighly concave.

Two complete but worn cast lead alloy spindle whorls or weights of probable late Medieval to post Medieval date.
The first whorl is circular in plan and bi-convex in profile with a central circular perforation and traces of a worn raised design evident on both faces. On at least one of these faces this design appears to consist of pseudo-lettering and a quatrefoil of four pellets. The other face is too worn to decipher. Whorls which such lettering are thought to date predominantly to the 1600s. (Dimensions: diameter 26mm, 9.8mm thick, perforation 9.1mm across, 30.96g weight)

Cast lead spindle whorl dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is circular in plan and biconical. It has a central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 9.45mm. One face of the object is decorated with a series of eight linear moulded ridges radiating out from the perforation. Between the ridges are incised linear grooves. The opposite face has eight decorative ridges between which are moulded lozenges. The perforation on that face has been damaged and the decoration worn.

Two of the whorls are bi-convex in section with a central circular perforation. A cast lead-alloy spindle whorl of Medieval date, c. 1200-1500.
The spindle whorl is biconical with decorated faces, though one face has been completely worn. The face with visible decoration has eight panels separated by raised lines, five of which contain a single raised pellet followed by three panels each contained three raised pellets arranged triangularly.
The spindle whorl is very shallow and curved in profile.

The spindle whorl is biconical with decorated faces consisting of raised pellets arranged linearly on both faces, though the pellets on one face are larger in size. A raised moulded collar is also found on both faces surrounding the circular perforation.
