A complete, age uncertain, Roman-Post Medieval, cast, lead alloy, small/medium size, homemade unofficial trader's weight. The weight has a circular shape, fairly flat, although one side is slightly thicker than the other. There is a feint crease across the middle where it was slightly bent by the plough and a small, off centre triangular indentation on one side. A complete cast Post Medieval uniface circular lead alloy token. Powell Type 2. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials VR or VB . The reverse is blank. The token measures 16.97mm in diameter, 1.38mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams. Lead alloy tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the Post Medieval period, c. 1550-1800 AD.

A complete cast Post Medieval uniface circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials APM with a line underneath. The reverse is blank. The token measures 19.04mm in diameter, 1.43mm thick and weighs 3.8 grams. Lead alloy was easy to work and locally produced tokens were fashioned into a myriad of different designs many of which had considerable longevity. Tokens with initials are one of the more common designs, and they generally date c. 1550-1800 AD.

It is uniface, with an unclear square shape, that may be either joined initials (i.e. I T), or more likely a type 13 according to the Powell Classification (framework). A single pellet sits outside the frame. The plain reverse has two short parallel cuts. It measures 14.16 mm DIA x 3.28 mm TH and weighs 2.58 g. See Fletcher 2005

It has a pale grey/creamy matt surface with a few small 'plough damage' dents on some edges and has a bright silver/grey metal area exposed on one end where is has been recently struck. A complete post-medieval cast base silver spoon. The handle is wider at the far end and narrows significantly towards the bowl. There are small, diagonal grooves running along the outside and at the widest part are the letters 'FWM'. The reverse has two impressed stamps into the stem near the bowl, one may be an animal and the other is the letters 'TN'. The bowl has been folded over and the other side has rippled. A complete cast lead alloy post-medieval stud in the shape of a flower. The stud consist of 8 petals surrounding a raised circle with a central protursion. The reverse retains the stud. The stud is in fair condition with no breaks, but with corrosion products covering most of the surface. It is likely to date from circa 1600-1800. A similar example may be found on the database LON-5BA954 and SWYOR-ACD378. The stud has a diameter of 21.21 mm, a height of 19.17 mm and weighs 17.85 g.

A complete Cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials I T the I having a cross bar with two wavy lines above and below, the reverse side has the initial D over the number I2, this token has also been pierced through the middle at some time. It is 25.33mm in diameter, 2.87mm thick and weighs 4.9 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1550-1800 AD.

Two lead alloy parallel-sided ingots of uncertain date. One ingot is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section. Two of the edges on one of the narrow sides are bevelled. 66.4. x 10.4 x 10.3mm. Weight: 51.47g. The second ingot is also sub-rectangular in plan but with a triangular cross-section.64.4mm x 10.1mm x10.7mm. Weight, 37.14 grams.
