A Post Medieval lead alloy small bowl, probably a salt, probably dating to the 17th century. The bowl has a rounded base, curved walls and a rim which has been rolled back on itself. The bowl has tripod feet soldered onto the body. One of these is missing and there is the corresponding section of the wall missing as well. The rim is decorated with diagonal lines creating a twisted rope effect. A Post-Medieval Post Office lead bag seal from the reign of William III (1689-1702) or Anne (1702-14) of the House of Stuart. Obverse: Crown above G·POS[T] (General Post) with a rose below Reverse: Two oval shields, on the left, an eagle displayed, head left and on the right, a dolphin embowed left with two saltires in chief. It has been mis-stamped over part of the front. A perforation runs through form top to bottom to hold the bag cord around which it was clamped. An incomplete and misshapen post-Medieval to Modern cast lead alloy unidentified object. This object is rectangular in plan with moulded decoration at the front and flat at the rear. It has a transverse break at each end. The decoration is in the form of a dragon facing right. The body is scaled, although most is worn off and there is a flower head above the body. A cast lead spindle whorl or possibly weight. It has a slightly domed top and flat base with a tapering circular hole running through it, slightly off centre. It is 29.8mm in diameter, 8.2mm thick and weights 35.57g, the hole is 7.6mm in diameter at the base, 6.8mm at the top. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval.

A cast lead alloy probable mount likely to date from the Post Medieval period. It is circular in plan and The front is decorated with a design of an animal's face, possibly a goat, in relief. The centre of the face is obscured by iron corrosion, but two ears and a tuft of hair can be seen above and the nose can be seen below. There is also a raised border. Iron also projects from the sides of the object, and on the reverse are three protruding iron blobs. These suggest that the mount was attached by iron fittings. An incomplete cast pewter probable candle holder of medieval to post-medieval date. The holder is circular in plan with a raised central circular socket which tapers from the base. Three circumferential grooves are present midway along the base. The edges of the socket and base are extremely worn and broken. The underside of the holder is concave and undecorated. The holder is 18.3mm tall, 53.3mm in diameter at the base, 19.8mm in diameter at the socket and weighs 34.9g. Similar examples have been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database as NLM-1806E1 and HESH-C7CBC6.

A cast lead alloy spindle whorl of uncertain date, but possibly Roman. It is semi-spherical in shape with a slightly concave upper face and a domed lower face. This shape is consistent with whorls thought to be Roman in Walton Rogers (2007). The central hole tapers from 9.5mm on the upper face to 7mm on the domed face. It is full of soil. It is 12.61mm in thickness, 29.83mm in diameter and weighs 54.26 grams. Lead alloy spindle whorls are very difficult to date as few are found in datable contexts.

A Lead alloy flat weight which is octagonal in plan and rectangular in section (flat). It probably dates from the Late Medieval or Post Medieval period. Oe face is marked in the centre with an indistinct stamp, possibly 2 in Roman numerals (II) or even II 2/1. The weight has a mass of 2.2oz, so may have been intended as a two ounce or 2 and a half ounce weight. It has a well developed white patina. Compare WMID-79E7F6 and SWYOR-486C72.

The rim has a rope twist edge and the flange is decorated with foliate scrolling which encloses a plain and beaded cartouche with forms a maker's mark. This includes the saw-toothed adjustable ratchet or trammel with 11 straight-sided teeth, hanger, curving hook and suspension loop.
