Cast into the plaque is decorated with an eagle with wings outstretched, standing left. The Eagle was adopted by Napoleon as his standard, and its presence on this plaque suggests that it held a similar function to the one recorded at WMID-EF3192. The reverse is plain and the object is broken and bent.

A half-rounded lead vessel, probably a post-medieval powder flask. The flask has lip which steps out from the vessel wall. This object was found along with six lead bullets (LIN-6A7411) and a metal badge that probably refers to the regiment (LIN-6ACA37). The finder suggests that this site was a rifle range for the Loyal Lincolnshire Yeomanry (1794-1828). Peter Hart kindly suggests that this could be a liner for a cartridge box. The cartridges would be paper wrapped in a cylindrical form and contain the powder change and the bullet.

Lead bag seal. Cast pair of discs clenched together to form a drawstring bag closure with one slotted edge opposed to a bifurcated slot. An indistinct design appears on one side, and the letters MCP on the other. Suggested date: Modern, 1850-1900. Diameter: 22.8mm, Thickness (at raised rim): 6.7mm, Weight (with trapped soil): 9.75gms.

Home made lead die, probably of 19th century date. The die is a cube with two opposing convex sides and four flat sides. It is unlikely the die would settle on the convex sides leaving four options. On three sides a letter has been scratched by hand: T, P and L and on the fourth side is a large indent. It is 18.7mm across the convex sides, 15.2mm by 15.9 across the others and weighs 36.21 grams. Home made lead items are hard to date precisely but the style of the lettering suggests a relatively modern date.

An incomplete Modern cast-lead pencil sharpener of 19th century date (c. 1850-c. 1900). The lower part is hollow and cone-shaped to house the pencil. It has a rim at the base and a vertical slot at one side. On the opposite side of the slot there is a raised cartouche or oval border, containing the initials 'SS'. An incomplete lead seal, probably a Baltic bale seal for flax of hemp, dating to the later 18th or 19th century. The seal is flat and was probably originally circular however much of the perimeter is lost. One side has an incomplete W[ ], below which is a number followed by a letter, probably [1]2K. The other side depicts what appears to be the heraldic shield of Narva (Estonia), having a short cross with possibly three pellets in one angle. Russian bale seals are well known in the area around Gainsborough.

A post-medieval or modern lead seal. The seal is circular and has a rectangular hole running from side to side through which a cord would have been threaded. Lettering is visible around the perimeter on both sides. Paul Cannon has kindly identified this is a Danish State seed control seal. Around the Danish crown was originally the inscription STATSFRØKONTROLLEN. The other face would originally have read KØBENHAVN.V. Both faces are now extremely difficult to read.

A nineteenth century lead Russian bale seal of St. Petersburg. The seal is a circular disc with a hole running between the two faces for the cord or string. Lettering is visible on both sides. The letters are very worn in places. Side A reads: ПД = PD (Hemp) П:ALM?ИMAH (P.ALM?IMAN) H14 Side B reads: SPB HHRH 1805 The letters SPB stand for St. Petersburg. The letters PD indicate that this was for a bale of hemp inspected by P. Alm?iman. The seal indicates that the goods have been checked for quality and/or taxed.
