Lead alloy toy dog. Solid Cast model of a dog at approximately 1:32 or 54mm scale. A naturalistically modelled dog is portrayed seated on its haunches and looking upwards; it wears a collar. The solid casting suggests this is distinct from the late 19th to 20th-century products of William Britains and other toy manufacturers, which were hollow cast. It may be a novelty from a Christmas cracker; there is no sign of this figure having been detached from a larger group. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1960. Lead alloy possible toy fragment. Cast flat fragment with vegetal relief texture on both its sides. It is suggested this may be part of a scenic tree, manufactured and sold alongside toy soldiers, farm animals and other items. The tree trunk would have been modelled three-dimensionally with a flat base to permit the tree to stand unaided, but branches and leaves were rendered two-dimensionally. Lead alloy toy. Hollow cast seated figure, perhaps supplied to occupy a toy vehicle. The modelling is naturalistic, at 1:32 or 54mm scale: the female figure is posed with arms and legs crossed, and wears a jacket or blazer, skirt or, more probably, a coat riding above the knee, and trousers with turn-ups. The head has either been broken off or was detachable. The maker's legend -PYE appears in relief on the lower back. Suggested Date: Modern, 1920-1960. A fragment of a modern lead alloy toy train carriage. The fragment contains one side of the carriage; it is decorated on one face with two wheels and the slatted carriage wall. The name 'LIVERPOOL' is written inside one of the slats. Attached to one wheel is a linear fragment, possibly a piece of track. The top of the carriage is broken. The reverse is plain and rough, suggesting that this was one side of a 3D toy and that the reverse would have been hidden inside the toy. A cast copper-alloy water pistol toy of later 19th or early 20th century date. The object takes the form of a revolver or 'six-shooter' handgun, missing the sqeezable balloon handle. The attachment for the handle is a projecting disc that would have fitted into a socket. The gun is not an exact replica in miniature, however, as there is no trigger or trigger guard, hammer or sight at the end of the barrel. The end of the barrel of worn and slightly rounded and appears solid. Flashmarks are visible along the upper and lower faces around the perimeter of the object.

An external mould line is visible; the bowl is now slightly squashed and part of its upper body is lost. An incomplete lead alloy toy gun of which only the stock survives. The lower portion of the stock has scrolled floral designs on either side while the upper stock, which protrudes from a mouth-like moulding, is decorated with cross hatching. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and some examples even fired. This is a late example and dates from c. AD 1850- 1900.

An early modern pewter toy kettle or teapot, probably dating from the 18th or 19th centuries. The vessel is missing its lid and its handle is broken. However the pouring spout appears to be complete. The base is circular and measures 33.3 mm in diameter and is convave on the bottom. The spout emerges from the base, curving upwards, tapering slightly from 8.7 mm thick to 6.4 mm at the opening. An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g. Solid cast semi-flat model representing a mounted lancer or uhlan with knee length boots, rectangular saddlecloth and round blanket roll; on one side the lance is modelled at the slope, running along the neck of a cantering horse; on the other side a hanging sabre appears. A copper alloy (bronze probably brass) merchants token for Bowyer's Wine and Spirit Company most likely to date from the 19th century AD. The token is struck on a flan of similar size and thickness to a half penny of George I or II (1727-1760 AD). And may in fact be a heavily worn halfpenny from this period reused in the later 18th or 19th century. Both sides are filed and polished smooth.
