Cast lead trade weight with '1/4 Ib' in reverse at the centre and a stamp of a letter above, within two concentric rings, beyond which is a legend of letters, the maker's name or the company name, within a circular border, which are too worn to be made out, and in reverse, but perhaps 'Q R' in one section and 'O L V' in another. The weight of the object is 65.26 g which equates to 2.3 ounces.
