Lead Alloy Bowl fragments. Thirteen scraps from the body of a small cast bowl, including two attached feet and a fragment of a third, now detached. The outer surface bears a complex Neo-Classical design incorporating birds, flowers and cherub-like figures framed by floral or vegetal swags; the escutcheons for the feet are likewise decorated with florets and leaf motifs. An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g. An incomplete cast lead whistle of modern date. The whistle is a hollow cone with open apex and a sub-triangular section removed to act as the sound hole. A casting seem is present along the two sides of the whistle and it is moulded with a design consisting of two ovate elements, giving the appearance of eyes. To either side of the "eyes" are two semi-circular designs which is repeated in retrograde on the bottom just in front of the sound hole. The metal has a mid greyish white colour and is worn. An early modern pewter toy kettle or teapot, probably dating from the 18th or 19th centuries. The vessel is missing its lid and its handle is broken. However the pouring spout appears to be complete. The base is circular and measures 33.3 mm in diameter and is convave on the bottom. The spout emerges from the base, curving upwards, tapering slightly from 8.7 mm thick to 6.4 mm at the opening. The lower portion of the stock has scrolled floral designs on either side while the upper stock, which protrudes from a mouth-like moulding, is decorated with cross hatching. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and some examples even fired. This is a late example and dates from c. AD 1850- 1900.

The name 'LIVERPOOL' is written inside one of the slats. Attached to one wheel is a linear fragment, possibly a piece of track. The top of the carriage is broken. The reverse is plain and rough, suggesting that this was one side of a 3D toy and that the reverse would have been hidden inside the toy. Lead alloy toy dog. Solid Cast model of a dog at approximately 1:32 or 54mm scale. A naturalistically modelled dog is portrayed seated on its haunches and looking upwards; it wears a collar. The solid casting suggests this is distinct from the late 19th to 20th-century products of William Britains and other toy manufacturers, which were hollow cast.
