The object is modelled three dimensionally after rectilinear Classical architectural forms, with a basal collar, an expanded surface with vertical leaf ornament capped by an entablature. Lead Alloy Bowl fragments. Thirteen scraps from the body of a small cast bowl, including two attached feet and a fragment of a third, now detached. The outer surface bears a complex Neo-Classical design incorporating birds, flowers and cherub-like figures framed by floral or vegetal swags; the escutcheons for the feet are likewise decorated with florets and leaf motifs. The lower side of the bowl was apparently plain. Patinated or corroded within, the decorated outer face is unpatinated. Suggested date: Modern, 1800-1900. An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g. An incomplete cast lead whistle of modern date. The whistle is a hollow cone with open apex and a sub-triangular section removed to act as the sound hole. A casting seem is present along the two sides of the whistle and it is moulded with a design consisting of two ovate elements, giving the appearance of eyes. To either side of the "eyes" are two semi-circular designs which is repeated in retrograde on the bottom just in front of the sound hole. The metal has a mid greyish white colour and is worn. A lead alloy seal, probably a cloth seal, probably dating from 1821. It consists of two circular discs of lead connected by a narrow strip that is folded so that the discs are pressed together. One disc has a hole in the centre through which is passed an integral rivet from the other disc. This is then squashed flat when the seal is stamped. On one disc are letters in three lines reading (?)/NE(L)/EL (the first letter being either an I or a T).
