An incomplete cast copper alloy clock or watch winder of modern date. The winder is formed from a single cast piece of metal with a large, square sectioned circular handle and square sectioned stem which terminates in a worn break. The metal has a light reddish-brown patina and survives in good condition. The winder is 36.4mm long, 23.1mm in diameter, 2.8mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 4.2g.
